Our Artists
Dave aka 41stMillenium_Dave
Hello,
I’m Dave and I’ve been painting (sometimes badly) Games workshop miniatures for over 20 Years!
I paint predominantly Box art style Warhammer 40K and Warhammer Age of Sigmar miniatures. Focusing in the last 2-3 years on improving my painting and less on bigger army projects.
I bought my first set of Orange Brushes in August 2024 and since then I have painted exclusively with the size 1, 0 & 00 through choice to see what I can do with them. I am really happy with the results I have seen using Orange Brushes and genuinely believe for the price point they are a perfect place to start pushing your own ability.
I think they’re also counted as 1 of your 5 a day!? (Don’t quote me on that)

I’m a passionate Warhammer painter who found my outlet through miniature painting after a hectic career running my own IT business. As much as I thrive in the fast-paced world of tech, I’ve always needed something to unwind and channel my focus – and that’s where painting came in.
I’ve always had a soft spot for Space Marines, especially the iconic, detailed power armour, and In the last two years spent countless hours perfecting my skills in the Eavy Metal style. Over time, however, I began to gravitate towards painting flesh and non metallic armour with its more fluid paintbrush approach, this is allowing me to explore new techniques and refine my craft adding it to my crispy edge highlights. It’s a true reflection of my growth as an artist – embracing challenges, experimenting with textures, and stepping outside the rigid lines of power armour.
Now, with the support of my amazing sponsor, Orange Brushes, I’m pushing the boundaries of what I can achieve with every brushstroke. Whether it’s sculpting the finest details of a Space Marine’s helmet or bringing life to a soft, natural tone in a model’s skin, I’m always striving to improve and share my passion with the world. Thanks for joining me on this journey!

Hi I'm Bee, a miniature painter and Gunpla builder focusing on Warhammer 40K. I love painting creative and colourful miniatures. I am best known for my girly pop army which consists of pastel coloured 40K minis. I started painting in June 2024 and haven't been able to put down a brush since. My hope is to inspire other people to paint whatever they like and not be scared to be different in this hobby.

I've been a miniature painter forever, I've been a commission miniature painter for about 10 years, I've been a full-time commission painter for about 7 of those years. I'm still learning how to paint tiny toy soldiers everyday and I love every minute of it! I'm absolutely passionate pushing myself to get better every time I sit at the paint table. I'm super happy to be sponsored by Orange Brushes, the quality and cost of the brushes are spot on.

I love this hobby equally as a painter and as a tabletop gamer. I regularly attend 40k Tournaments and I have a healthy growing collection of trophies, medals and accolades for both gaming and painting! I'm part of a local team (Shedhammer) and it has been great to have such a big social element also be part of this hobby.
When it comes to painting I would describe my approach as 'simple but effective', I know my limits, I'll never be pushing up to a Golden Demon level, ha! I am quite ingrained in my ways and still follow the traditional doctrine of 'Base, Shade, Layer, Highlight' for the most part, but I do still like to experiment with new tools and techniques to discover new effects that I like! I have learned to appreciate that a good set of brushes can really help elevate your painting prowess, especially if you're like me and don't own an airbrush!

A Glasgow based miniature painter and occasional tabletop gamer. It all started for me back in 1998 when I was gifted the 40k 3rd edition box set for Christmas. From there my journey in to the grim dark began (with a small hiatus in my teenage years in the mix of course).
My core focus is on display painting and showing off my work to a quickly growing Instagram audience. I’m also breaking in to video tutorials with a budding YouTube audience. I’m hoping to break down the barriers to entry for display painting to help unlock peoples potential.
My core focus is on painting miniatures from the Warhammer universe; 40k and Age of Sigmar to the best of my abilities. I have adopted Games Workshops ‘eavy metal style as my main aesthetic, but I’m always looking to push beyond my capabilities to inject my own flair.
With Orange Brushes support I am able to continue raising the bar for myself and help others learn how to grow in this wonderful hobby.
